Privacy policy

Data collected

None. No sign-up to read, no account, no form besides the newsletter. Server requests generate standard technical logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested), kept for 30 days for security reasons, then purged. Nobody looks at them unless there is an incident.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, I collect only your email address. Nothing else. No name, no first name, no country. Your address is stored on the same server as the site (Hetzner, Germany). No third-party service has access to it. Nothing has been sent yet — the address simply waits for the first issue. To leave, one message to [email protected] and it is deleted permanently.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics tooling. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no social pixel. The build is zero-JavaScript by default. You read. I don't know who you are. That's the point.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection regarding your data. In practice, since the only data stored is your newsletter email, these rights are exercised by sending a message to [email protected] or via the unsubscribe link present in every email. Reply within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) or your local data protection authority.
